The Telangana Chief Minister KCR announced that there will be a development of a new metro line from Patancheru(via Kukatpally) to Hayathnagar(via LB Nagar) if the BRS Party wins in the next term of elections. 

KCR released 30 crores each to three municipalities under the Patancheru Assembly Constituency to undertake development activities.
